Last spring Ellie modeled for a Roberta di Camerino catalogue here in Taiwan. And now…a mere five months later…we have finally received the catalogue, scanned the images, processed the images and loaded them onto the blog for your viewing pleasure.
Cute, huh? What do you think? Does it make you want to buy these clothes?
These pictures were done in June, full-on summer here in Taiwan. There was AC in the studio, a window unit, but with all the lights and people it was HOT, HOT, HOT in there. As you can see, Ellie was shooting winter clothes (the catalogue came out this September). Between shots the crew sat Ellie in a chair directly in front of the AC while they changed her clothes, did her hair, touched up makeup and fed her candy. The candy was a key factor in the success of the day.
Yesterday was Abram’s turn. His clothes were summery, probably a February catalogue. Something to look forward to in the months to come.
(Yes, that was Thanksgiving Day when Abram did the modeling job. No, we didn’t really take the day off. No, we didn’t really celebrate with a lot of food. Yes, I did at least get to have a turkey sandwich. And the seminary did have a family night variety show. As a matter of fact, Jason did participate in a Taiwanese aboriginal dance with costumes. And yes, I do have a video of that performance. And no, Jason didn‘t know that until he read it here.)
Can’t wait to see the video. Ellie’s pictures are adorable. I know Abram’s will be, too! Look forward to seeing his catalog debut.
nice pics!!
Adorable! Can’t wait to see your son’s pics.
Wow, that’s awesome! Famous kids, huh?
Work it, Ellie! I can only hope our future child has the honor of being chosen for a modeling shoot, haha–the kids of a couple friends in our city have done so for Crocs, etc. and said it was a blast! She’s gonna love these when she’s older…
