   You’ll appreciate my frustration in trying to get the kids’ clothes today at a Chinese New Year celebration. They kept handing me size 4s for Henry and I kept saying, “No. I need an 8. A 4 is too small.” Tomwhich they responded, “But he is 4? He wears a 4.” Finally I said, ” He is a giant American boy with Swedish blood. He needs an 8.”. She then handed me a size 8 pink dress. So only Gracie got a dress. I was sad, but then I remembered, “Hey, I’ll be in China soon enough…”. But it made me giggle thinking of how they were afraid you’d have giant 8 lb babies.

      I can. Yesterday I had this conversation: How old is Abram? Three and a half?….No…..Oh, is he four?…..No, he’s stil two.

   Such a beautiful photo… well done! Happy Chinese New Year to you and your family! We had an amazing lunch with some church friend’s parents who cooked up a feast from all over the mainland! Wow! It was so nice to eat real chinese food again! the kids loved it!
